Woman, 36, Lost 140 Lbs. After ‘Humiliating’ Roller Coaster Experience

Danielle McGill, a mom of three, lost 140 lbs. after a "humiliating" incident where she was told she was too big to ride a roller coaster. McGill, who used food as a coping mechanism after her father died of cancer, began using it as a way of coping and often ate between 5,000 and 10,000 calories a day. She embarked on a health and weight-loss journey in 2025, which involved doctor-prescribed weight loss injections and an extensive lifestyle overhaul. Despite her weight loss, Danielle credits her success to non-scale victories such as being able to go on a roller roller coaster at Alton Towers and feeling proud.
