Kurtz, meet Bonds: A's slugger ties Barry as milestone walk streak hits 20 straight games

Nick Kurtz, the reigning American League Rookie of the Year, has hit 20 consecutive games with a walk, surpassing Ted Williams and tying him with Barry Bonds for the third-longest since walks first started being tracked for individual hitters. Kurtz received a standing ovation when he reached a 3-1 count and walked again. This makes him one of the few players to achieve this feat. He is now just two away from tying the record of 22 consecutive games set by Roy Cullenbine in 1947.
