Live cattle futures saw weakness on Wednesday, with contracts down 20 to 95 cents at the close, and open interest increased by 262 contracts. The Fed Cattle Exchange online auction saw no sales, with bids at $233-235 live and $369 in beef. The CME Feeder Cattle Index was up 19 cents to $361.78 on March 24. Wholesale Boxed Beef prices were mixed, with Choice boxes dropping $8.22 to $391.69, while Select was 99 cents higher at $395.49.
