11-year-old California girl kidnapped in 2020 located at North Carolina school under alias

An 11-year-old girl who was kidnapped nearly six years ago in California has been found safe in eastern North Carolina. The Washington County Sheriff's Office located the child on March 10 after receiving information from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the LA Department of Children and Family Services. The child was found living in Washington County, North Carolina, and was enrolled in the school under an alias. The girl is currently in protective custody.
