A Kentucky woman, who chose to remain anonymous, won a $500,000 lottery prize while shopping at a grocery store. She matched the number 31 in the first row and a second scratch revealed the grand prize below. The woman called her husband, who initially thought something was wrong, and claimed the prize, which amounted to $362,500 after taxes. The winnings will help her family financially stable and enable her to help her daughter purchase a new car.
