A Chinese leaker, Instant Digital, claims to have details of the storage options and the top price for the expected iPhone Fold. The prices, translated from Chinese yuan, are said to be for models released in China. Despite this, there is still doubt that the iPhone Fold will be released in September 2026. If these are correct, it would cost $320 to upgrade from 256GB to 512GB, a further $260 to go to 1TB. However, there are concerns that Apple may pass on some of these increases to buyers due to shortages of storage and RAM. Another rumor suggests that the Fold will instead be called the iPhone Ultra, which is intended to raise the price and profit margin of Apple's highest-specification products.
