Allyson Felix, the most decorated American Olympian in athletics, has announced her intention to return to the 2028 LA Olympic games. She won her only solo gold in the 200m at London in 2012 and topped the 4x400m relay podium at every Games between 2008 and 2020. She also won a record 20 medals at the World Championships, the highest for any woman or man, and attended the 2024 Paris Olympics as a spectator.
