Mixed precipitation is moving northeast across northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula, causing warnings and advisories. The following counties in the northeast Lower Peninsula are under an ice storm warning until 5 p.m. on March 11. Additional freezing rain, sleet, and snow are expected to continue throughout the day. Ice accumulation on power lines and tree limbs could cause localized power outages. A winter storm warning remains in place for most of the U.P. and a winter weather advisory for the northern Lower Peninsula, with up to 7 inches of snow expected to fall by Thursday morning.
