Los Angeles restaurants and bars saw significant changes in April, including new menus, specialty items, and brunch service debuts. Boxx Coffee Roasters in the Arts District debuted a late-night experience called Boxx at Night, offering non-alcoholic coffee and tea-based cocktails. Austrian hospitality group Viva Group expanded its first-ever U.S. expansion with a restaurant in West Third Street featuring handmade pizzas and specialty pizzas. New York City's H&H Bagels expanded its Los Angeles presence with an outpost in Echo Park, and Mírate's new brunch menu features Mexico City-inspired dishes. Wolfgang Puck's restaurant in Beverly Wilshire offers The First Cut three-course menu between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. from Tuesday to Thursday. The first time the First Cut is offered, with a $95 per person early evening experience featuring a butter lettuce salad, a choice of steak or fish, and a shared side and dessert. The José Andrés Group’s Mediterranean restaurant has opened a new location in Los Angeles.
