After 50 Years, Beloved Twin Cities Pizza Chain Shuts Down Permanently

The parent company of the popular Twin Cities pizza chain, Northern Brands, Inc., filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in March and plans to liquidate its business, rather than reorganize and reopen. The company had accumulated roughly $3 million in debt and had already shut down its four west metro locations in October 2025. A separate restaurant in California also operates under the name of the restaurant.
