Military museum negotiates with MoD in bid to reopen

The Keep Military Museum in Dorchester, UK, has been negotiating with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to reopen its 17-month-long closure due to a faulty roof. The museum is now in talks with the MoD to transfer ownership of the building to the charity, The Dorchester Keep Military Foundation, which runs the museum. The move is not yet agreed upon, with time still being needed to complete necessary repairs and redevelopment. The trust also launched an online fundraiser to maintain its artefacts.
