He also criticized President Donald Trump's public behavior, comparing him to the President's appearance dressed as the Pope and his portrayal of Superman. Newsom stated that Democrats cannot rely solely on being morally "right" in their approach and that if they don't win back the House of Representatives, they may not have a fair and free election in 2028. Meanwhile, SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci criticised Democrats for lacking a clear message and warned that focusing solely on opposing Trump would not be enough to win elections.
