Multnomah County Commissioner and disability rights advocate Meghan Moyer has criticized President Donald Trump's comments that California Gov. Gavin Newsom should not be president due to his dyslexia. Moyer, who is also dyslexic, called the President's comments "profoundly offensive" and "ignorant". She pointed out that several U.S. Presidents and influential figures in history are believed to have lived with learning disabilities. Despite her criticism, Moyer clarified that her comments were not an endorsement for Newsom but a message to those living with disabilities.
