The 1981 album "The Wild, The Willing and The Innocent" by UFO, originally released by the band in January 1981, is being reissued with a deluxe reissue, remastered, expanded with a previously unreleased live set from London’s Hammersmith Odeon. The album, which was released in the UK and Billboard 200, was a key part of the band's post-Michael Schenker era and helped give them mainstream traction. Lead singer Phil Mogg described the making of the record as one of the most enjoyable experiences of the group's career. The reissue of the album, originally recorded in 1981, expands the picture of UFO at full throttle and reflects their evolution.
