Influencer Zhu Mingyue Dies at 41, 2 Years After Sharing Cancer Diagnosis

Zhu Mingyue, a Chinese internet personality known for her outspoken stance on social media, died at the age of 41 on March 26. Her daughter confirmed her death in a post on her account on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, stating that Zhu's death was sudden due to failing to respond to medical treatment. A year and a half prior to her death, Zhu revealed to her 100,000 followers that she had been diagnosed with cancer. She spent her life focusing on others but neglecting herself, her daughter stated in her obituary.
