Icy conditions trigger multiple crashes on highway

Freezing fog and ice are causing travel difficulties across the state, particularly in Inland Connecticut. The westbound HOV lane on I-84 in Manchester is closed due to a collision involving a tractor-trailer and one other vehicle. The ice is expected to melt through the morning, leaving mostly sunny conditions for the remainder of the day. A First Alert Weather Day has been extended for Wednesday.
