Remmy Evans, a YouTuber, has purchased a stripped-down Tesla Model 3 for $2,000, despite it having been unregistered for at least two years. The car had no body panels, no windshield, no seatbelts, and still showed 212 miles of range on a full charge. Despite this, Evans managed to drive it off-roading, drifting, and even jumping it. He also discovered that CCS fast charging may not be enabled on the stripped car’s software, which would require a software update. Despite avoiding updating the car's software for these reasons, Evans was worried that it would recognize all its missing components and refuse to drive entirely.
