Man found guilty in strangling girlfriend, kidnapping baby later found dead in pond

A man has been convicted of murdering his girlfriend, Ja'nya Murphy, and kidnapping her daughter, who was found strangled to death in her apartment and later found dead in a pond. The accused man, Ahmeel Fowler, was charged with Murphy's murder and the kidnapping of baby Angel. He was found guilty of three counts of first-degree murder and one count of aggravated kidnapping. He will be sentenced on April 20.
