Peacock has announced that Five Nights at Freddy's 2, Universal and Blumhouse's second film, starring Josh Hutcherson, will premiere on the platform on April 3. The film is based on the indie video game series from Scott Cawthon and centers on a haunted family pizza restaurant where animatronic mascots become deadly at night. The sequel follows the same character, Mike Schmidt, who takes a night security job at the abandoned Freddy Fazarent's Pizza while caring for his younger sister Abby. The first film grossed over $238M worldwide and the sequel follows.
