Baptist pastor Erik Reed has created a theological chatbot named Dominion, which he believes is the solution to the issue of children being discipled by artificial intelligence. According to recent polling, most teens are using AI for homework or as a search engine. However, nearly 75% of U.S. teens have said they have tried out AI companions. The chatbot was trained on selected theological texts, verses, catechisms, and traditional logic. It is protected by internal checks and balances that user cannot influence. Co-founder Brandon Maddick describes his work as a "Christian responsibility" to shape minds in truth to counter the influence of AI.
