Known for creating some of the most memorable home run calls and nicknames for players, Sterling was known for his unique approach to personalize player calls. His most memorable call was "Bern, baby, Bern!" and "All Rise! Here comes the Judge!" which he used to refer to players such as Dominique Wilkins, Jorge Posada, and Canó. Other memorable calls included "Gleyber Torres" and "The Bam-Tino".
