Mayfield Schools launching PAWS, a student-led doggy daycare

Mayfield City Schools is launching PAWS Mayfield Doggy Day Care, a student-led doggy daycare business. The business aims to provide real-world workforce training for Mayfield High School students with disabilities while providing high-quality care for the community's dogs. PAWS will integrate 11 career fields and 15 workplace competencies into a hands-on learning environment. The facility will open its doors in August and initially serve up to 10 dogs. The cost for dog owners will be $25 per day.
