The new map condition, Close Scrutiny, has been dubbed "hell on Earth" by fans of Arc Raiders Flashpoint, giving players "flashbacks" of Helldivers 2's Malevelon Creek. The new event, part of the Flashpoint update, involves Arc Assessors dropping around the map providing massive loot but navigating these obstacles to them. The challenge is proving to be the toughest set of obstacles in the game yet. Players are finding it difficult to navigate these challenges. The game's production director, however, stated that players shouldn't feel fully safe even in friendly lobbies and that players should not feel safe even after Flashpoint.
