Retrace steps of US D-Day paratroopers at RAF North Witham site

The former RAF North Witham site in Lincolnshire, now owned by Forestry-England, will be accessible for free guided walks. The first US aircrew took off from the site on the eve of D-Day 1944. The walk will take participants two and a half hours and are funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
