The Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY) held a "Feel Good Friday Back to School Extravaganza" in Las Vegas, giving 500 children in the Las Vegas Valley who are experiencing housing instability or homelessness free backpacks and school supplies. The event included classroom essentials such as pencils, crayons, notebooks and folders. The demand for the event was high, with families arriving hours before it began. NPHY provides young people in need with critical resources, food and hygiene supplies each week.
