The latest Mitofsky poll has revealed that Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum's approval rating has remained at 68.4%, down from 69.1% in February, but over two-thirds of respondents still have a positive opinion of her job performance. The survey, conducted for the newspaper El Economista, interviewed 59,548 Mexicans over the age of 18. Sheinba faced challenges in March, including rejection of the electoral reform bill submitted to Congress, rising inflation, a stagnating economy, and an oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The highest-rated segment was the business sector, with 56.1%, an increase of 4.6 points compared to the 51.5% approval they gave in February.
