MoCo Man Sentenced In 2022 Baltimore Co. Murder

Keith Brian Russell, a 40-year-old man from Bethesda, has been sentenced to life plus 45 years in prison for a 2022 murder. The crime occurred during a drive-by shooting on the 1900 block of Ewald Avenue in Dundalk. Police found 43-year old Tayvon Scott with gunshot wounds to his back, chest, arms, and legs. Neither Russell nor his accomplice had any connection to Scott. The case was investigated by several agencies including the Baltimore County Police Department, the Baltimore City Police Department and the Department of Energy.
