Animazing Gallery at the Venetian has opened a new exhibit honoring Elvis Presley, featuring works of art, artifacts and memorabilia from his career. The exhibit also includes several guitars Presley played on stage and in his films. Resident artist Mel Balatbat, who contributed work to the exhibit, said Presley's music was a significant part of his childhood. The tribute coincides with the anniversary of Presley’s 636 sold-out performances at the International Hotel, later the Las Vegas Hilton, on July 31, 1969. The exhibition runs until August.
