The Apollo Go incident in Wuhan, China, occurred on March 31, causing about 100 robotaxis to come to a complete stop and transform into poorly placed traffic cones with human beings inside. The incident was caused by a mysterious "system failure". According to reports, there are hundreds of Baidu-owned robotaxis in the city, which are operated by the Apollo Go app-based ride-hailing platform.
