UBS CEO, Ermotti, has pledged to stay on until April 2027 to oversee the integration process of its rival Credit Suisse, which UBS acquired in 2023. He also plans to guide UBS through new regulations that authorities are preparing for the bank. Speaking at an event organised by the International Center for Monetary and Banking Studies, Errotti stated that he would like his successor to be an internal candidate and that the bank already has good candidates.
