Ahem, a suspected rogue device operating in downtown Toronto, Canada's largest city, began sending fraudulent text messages and disrupting the internet. The incident was discovered in November 2025 and led to search warrants being executed in Markham and Hamilton. The police found that tens of thousands of mobile devices connected to the device, along with over 13 million network disruptions, were connected to it.
