Cleveland's baroque orchestra, Apollo's Fire, has launched a series of concerts featuring a program called “O Jerusalem!,” which will explore links between Jewish, Muslim, Palestinian, and Christian music. The program will be presented at venues in Bath, Cleveland, and Beachwood. The artistic director, Jeannette Sorrell, hopes the audience will walk away with an understanding of the humanity of those who have lived in Jerusalem. The tour will also include a cast cast including string players, vocal soloists, accordion and oud players, woodwind specialist, and a world percussionist. This is part of a larger tour that includes boxing, unboxing, and global cultures representing a range of instruments.
