Temperatures increase to be well above averages for the rest of the week

Temperatures are expected to rise above average for the rest of the week, with overnight lows expected to be cooler than seasonal averages in the 50s and low 60s. More smoke is expected for the southern-most areas, including the Pikes Peak Region and the Denver Metro area, and high temperatures expected in the 90s and triple digits. Similar weather conditions are expected for Friday, with temperatures expected to reach 90s with sunshine and dry conditions. Not much change is expected into the weekend, with highs expected in 90s, 100s and more smoke expected. The mid-week of next week will be even cooler with more storm chances returning.
