Donna Crossman, a 53-year-old woman who died following a car crash on her way to a music concert in 2024, was walking to Bristol's Ashton Gate stadium when a car collided with her group. Her father, Steve Price, described her as "perfect" and "adventurous". The number of deaths and serious injuries on Bristol's roads is at its highest in over a decade, according to data. Fiona Hodges, 69, has been charged with causing death by careless driving and is due to stand trial at Bristol Crown Court on 13 April. The most recent data suggests 133 people were killed or seriously injured on the city's roads in 2024. The council is considering extending the 20mph limit to a further 97 roads.
