Pope Leo, a Chicago-area native, has responded to President Donald Trump's criticism of him, stating he is not afraid of him or of speaking out against the Trump administration. This comes after an Easter Sunday Mass where Leo urged world leaders to "let those who have weapons lay them down" and criticized the U.S.-Israel war on Iran. Trump accused Leo of "catering to the RADICAL LEFT" and posted an image of himself wearing a robe similar to one often associated with Jesus Christ. The Pentagon has denied reports of friction between the two leaders.
