After record-breaking weekend, North Texas is expected to see a chilly start to the week with temperatures reaching 72 degrees. The National Weather Service predicts that temperatures will remain cooler than expected, with a low of 59 degrees and winds around 5 mph. The daytime temperature at D-FW International Airport reached 95 degrees, two degrees higher than the previous records set in 1934 and 1995. The rest of the week will be warmer than expected.
