Oscar-nominated Rooney Mara is set to play an "enigmatic, beautiful, violent" mother in the feature “Quest for Love” from Irish actress Antonia Campbell-Hughes, who will also exec produce the film. The film will explore intimacy, morality and the limits of human connection in Paris. HanWay Films has been commissioned to launch international sales in Cannes. WME Independent is handling North American sales. The movie was developed as part of the Screen Ireland and Luxembourg Film Fund initiative for female and non-binary filmmakers launched at Cannes in 2023.
