Former Valve developer, Chet Faliszek, has criticized Microsoft's decision to add its Copilot AI assistant to its consoles, stating that it removes much of the friction and discovery already created by real players. He also criticizes the AI for stealing content from online game guides and for removing the social aspect of games. Falaszek criticizes Nvidia's DLSS 5 tech for similar reasons. The feature will be available on Xbox consoles later in the year.
