Three Lebanese journalists, Ali Shoeib, Fatima Ftouni, and Mohamed Ftoui, were killed in a strike by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in Jezzine. The IDF described Shoeb as a "terrorist" from Iranian-backed Hezbollah's elite Radwan Force who had worked under the guise of a journalist. Prime Minister Nawaf Salam also condemned the attack as a violation of international humanitarian law. The conflict has resulted in over 1,100 civilian deaths, including children and paramedics.
