New Miami Beach hotel files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy

The bankruptcy filing for Harrison by Renzzi on the Beach, a new Miami Beach hotel, has been filed for Chapter 11 in the Southern District of Florida. The company, which also owns The Sixty Sixty Resort in Miami Beach, owes less than $10 million to between 200 and 999 creditors. The bankruptcy filing was signed by current president Mohamed Chabchoub Amine and represented by Thomas G. Zeichman of Beighley, Myrick, Udell, Lynne, and Zeichmand. Travel booking platforms Booking.com and Expedia Group are also listed as unsecured creditors.
