Former Bank of Japan (BOJ) Governor Haruhiko Kuroda has stated that he sees no problem with raising the interest rate by 0.25% for 3-4 times, reaching "around 1.5% in 2027. The increase would be made at the bank's April meeting, as the Iran-Syria conflict would only accelerate interest rate increases.
