A $180 million master-planned community in Delaware, The Granary at Draper Farm, is being developed with the intention of enhancing "community through consciousness" and will double the population of the 3,500-person population of Milton, Delaware. Developer Colby Cox, who owns the 450 acres of former farmland on the project, purchased the land from his mother and has been working in the master-planning community business for 24 years. The project will be completed over a 10-phase plan spanning 15 years and will have 1,350 residences, including 900 single-family homes, and 450 specialty residential units. The first phase of homes was sold in February with approximately 20 sales.
