Award-winning children's author Kimberly Howard is set to release her new picture book, The Naked Streak, on April 28. The book, inspired by her own daughters, follows a toddler who joyfully removes socks and creates imaginative outfits. Howard, who holds a doctorate in curriculum studies, previously won the 2022 Indiana Authors Award and represented the state at the National Book Festival. Her books have been translated into multiple languages. She plans to make children feel inspired, empowered and encouraged to start a writer's notebook or begin drafting their own stories.
