A man, Emiliskus Pascual, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for Organized Retail Theft, which cost businesses thousands of dollars. Pascually was identified through the Washoe County District Attorney’s Retail Theft Initiative and collaboration with retail investigators and law enforcement as part of the Northern Nevada Organized Rural Crime Association (NNORCA). He began stealing from local stores in 2025, stealing more than $3,000 worth of glasses from a store at Summit Mall and nearly $2,500 worth of boots from Boot Barn. The sentence was sought to send a message that these crimes will not be tolerated in the community.
