Former Southwest Airlines employee, DJ Kelly, has filed a federal lawsuit in Arizona alleging that the airline ignored years of sexual harassment complaints and then fired him after he submitted a formal written complaint. The lawsuit alleges that a co-worker subjected Kelly to unwanted touching, sexually explicit comments and repeated harassment over several years. Despite this, despite Kelly submitting a detailed written complaint, Southwest initially took no disciplinary action. Weeks later, Kelly was fired for using a homophobic slur, an allegation he denies. The suit seeks back pay, reinstatement or future lost wages and damages.
