French President Emmanuel Macron has called for a moratorium on attacks on oil and gas facilities in the Middle East, following discussions with US President Donald Trump and the emir of Qatar. This follows strikes that hit gas production facilities in Iran and Qatar. There are concerns that these attacks could also target vital water supply infrastructure in both countries.
