New funding bid to help refurb Whitby Old Town Hall

A £125,000 project is being funded by North Yorkshire Council to refurbish the Old Town Hall in Whitby, which has undergone a £1.2m renovation. The funds will be used to install interactive screens, a projector, and a new CCTV system to create a multi-functional space for community events and cultural programming. The council is seeking funds from the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
