KLBK Chief Meteorologist Jacob Riley has updated the weather forecast for March 13, 2026. Temperatures will remain calm overnight into Saturday, with winds sustained around 2-8 mph and variable in direction. Record-breaking heat is expected across the region, with temperatures expected to reach the mid 80s to mid 90s. However, a strong cold front is expected to arrive Sunday, clearing the area from north to south, leading to high winds and high-profile travel difficulties. High Wind Watches and Fire Weather Watches have been issued for Sunday. After recovering from near freezing temperatures on St. Patrick's Day, high temperatures will rebound to above-average levels, with highs expected to return to the 80s and 90s on Wednesday through Friday.
