The release of Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mazzazz is coming to fruition at the upcoming Pokémon Go Fest in Chicago, Copenhagen, and Tokyo. The event will be held on July 11 and 12 and will be free to all players. Niantic is also making changes to the Mega System, allowing excess Mega Energy to be used to increase the final Mega Levels of certain Pokémon without a need for a power outage.
