Grocery Store Thefts, Diesel Fuel Siphoned: Lower Makefield Crimes

The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released a list of criminal incidents over the past week. The most recent incident involved a retail theft at Giant Food Store, where a 45-year-old township woman concealed $28.06 worth of merchandise without paying and removed a beverage and hanging plant from McCaffrey's Market. Other incidents included an attempted identity theft, where an unknown person attempted to open a bank account in their name and an unauthorized use of their credit card for $715.49. The police were also able to arrest a woman from Trenton, N.J.
